Over the last 20 years, Tina Blakeney has worked in Asia, Australia, and North America on large scale global projects, which has helped her develop a unique understanding of international creative industries and events. As Principal, Project Development based out of Thinkwell Studio Montréal, she is part of the leadership team contributing to the strategic management of the Global Project Development pipeline working to ensure that planning, strategy, and deliverables can be met across teams and projects.
With over two decades of experience in themed entertainment, media production and the events sector, Blakeney has developed and delivered major global projects in her native Australia and across Asia, where for 10 years, she developed her career as a creative producer in Shanghai and set up an all-female independent production company gnaring global clients, most notably with Walt Disney Imagineering and has consulted for and collaborated with many other international brands. Since arriving at Thinkwell in 2017, she has been instrumental in the Montréal studio’s rapid growth, developing management processes and procedures to ensure a smooth transition as the team takes on larger and longer-term projects.
