This series of presentations puts the spotlight on the visual designers, creative coders, and collaborators whose work shapes the atmosphere and identity of live performances within the MUTEK universe.
In keeping with this year’s theme of Radical Rituals, this series invites these artists to reveal the working rituals behind their practice. What are the visual logics that guide their decisions? And what does it mean to take visual risks in a live, shared space? From technical challenges to bold aesthetic choices, these presentations focus on the often-invisible processes that animate the screen, and our collective experience of the performance.
