With a bachelor's degree in art history, museology, and art dissemination from UQAM, Anne-Célia Waddell has over 10 years of experience in Montréal's cultural scene. Throughout her career, she has developed a solid expertise in communication and audience development, holding key positions such as project manager, programmer, and communication consultant. She spent nearly three years at the Society for Arts and Technology, where she gained an in-depth understanding of the challenges related to digital arts and electronic music, in both research/creation and dissemination.
In 2022, she joined Moment Factory's communication team, where her interests quickly led her to the Innovation department, which she officially joined in 2024. Since 2022, she has also been managing the production of special projects for SHIFT RADIO, a Montréal-based independent online radio.
