Anne-Célia WaddellCA/QC
Anne-Célia Waddell holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History, Museology, and Arts Dissemination from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and works at the intersection of research-creation, emerging technologies, and community engagement. Over the past decade, she has been an active presence in Montréal’s cultural ecosystem, contributing across production, programming, and audience development. Her years at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) deepened her understanding of contemporary digital art practices and electronic music cultures, forming a foundation that continues to shape her work.
Since joining Moment Factory in 2022, she has worked on projects exploring new forms of creative expression and audience engagement. In 2024, she joined the studio’s innovation team, where she contributes to research and development initiatives focused on the future of collective experiences, asking what it means to bring people together through art, technology, and shared space.
Alongside her studio practice, Waddell led the production of special projects for SHIFT RADIO, a Montréal independent broadcasting platform, from 2022 to 2024, producing initiatives across Québec. Since 2025, she has served on the board of directors of BleuBleu Festival, where she draws on her experience to help expand the reach of Québec culture beyond major urban centres and into the communities that make it vital.
