Montréal-based Chilean artist Cristóbal Tapia de Veer is a multi-EMMY and BAFTA-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist known for reshaping the landscape of cinematic music. With a Master's degree in Classical Music (specialization in percussion) from the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec, his background blends rigorous classical training with a visionary approach to sound.
Tapia de Veer gained international acclaim for his distinctive work on cult series such as Utopia (Channel 4), Black Mirror, The White Lotus, and the box-office hit Smile (Paramount), as well as A24’s erotic thriller Babygirl. His inventive, genre-defying scores have redefined expectations of television and film soundtracks, earning him iconic status among a new generation of composers.
