Daniel IreguiCA/QC
Daniel Iregui is a Montréal-based digital artist specializing in interactive sculpture, immersive environments, and architectural intervention. His practice treats technology simultaneously as a tool and an aesthetic, using it to explore the infinite possibilities that emerge at the intersection of human experience and digital systems. At the core of his work is a fascination with participation: how an audience can move from passive observer to active co-creator, shaping and being shaped by the art around them.
Iregui's early studies in Interactive Multimedia at Sheridan College laid the groundwork for a career defined by technical fluency and creative ambition. His work draws on artificial intelligence, computer vision, geometry, typography, light, sound, custom software, mathematics, and algorithms, weaving these elements into experiences that are as visually striking as they are conceptually rich.
He is the founder of Iregular, a Montréal-based digital art studio producing audiovisual installations, large-scale sculptures, architectural projections, and scenographies, all with a strong emphasis on interactivity and immersion. Since its founding in 2010, the studio has produced over 50 works and toured across more than 30 countries, earning a distinguished record of prizes and awards recognizing the design, technological innovation, and creative ambition behind each production.
