Femke Kocken is a design researcher with a background in Industrial Design from the University of Technology Eindhoven. She aims to foster meaningful interactions within communities by creating designs that feel intuitive in technologically augmented environments.
Her practice revolves around research, design making, and generating insights from and with people. Kocken’s interests include trans- and posthumanism, online culture, social networking platforms, and generative AI.
She is currently an Associate Researcher at the Next-Generation Cities Institute at Concordia University.
