Zeina Abi Assy is an award-winning curator, writer, designer, and producer whose work explores the intersections of technology, storytelling, creativity, and social impact. She currently serves as Director of the Mozilla Festival, a global gathering dedicated to mobilizing communities around ethical technology, human rights, and digital futures.

Previously, she was Director of Interactive Programs at the Tribeca Film Institute, where she co-curated the Tribeca Film Festival’s Interactive Day and Immersive Exhibition, showcasing large-scale installations, talks, and emerging practices at the convergence of new technologies and narrative forms. She has also advised festivals and conferences across Europe and the SWANA region on topics related to immersive media, storytelling, and technological innovation.

Abi Assy teaches Design Writing and Thesis Writing at Pratt Institute. Her writing has appeared in the anthologies Arab Women Voice New Realities and We Call to the Eye & the Night.
