COMPOSITE is a quarterly networking event dedicated to digital creativity. It was born from an initiative of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, and is coordinated by MAPP_MTL in collaboration with important actors of the Montréal digital scene. This event aims to create a recurrent meeting space between the art and industry of the digital sector, by encouraging the gathering and pollination between creators, artist-run centers, organizations, companies and digital professionals.

Each COMPOSITE event follows the same structure. A minute of announcement and inspiration introduces the evening: 10 digital actors each have one minute to share an important announcement for the digital creation sector or a project that inspired them. This is followed by 6 keynote presentations, each lasting 6 minutes, of projects previously selected by the COMPOSITE committee through a call for participants. They can be from the art, industry or social innovation sectors; the common thread is their ability to inspire, stimulate innovation and awaken in the audience a desire for discovery and exploration.

The event concludes with an evening of networking and discussion, allowing both presenters and participants to network and build on each other's projects.

Submit your project in order to have the chance to be selected for a 6-minute Keynote presentation at this COMPOSITE event on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Projects are selected by the COMPOSITE committee and the organizers, according to the quality of the project and the innovation of its approach to digital technology. Priority is given to emerging actors and to a diversified representation of project leaders.

You can register until midnight on July 29.
