Day Pass price, excl. fees & taxesJames Holden is a British musician and producer whose boundary-pushing work spans trance, techno, modular synthesis, and spiritual jazz. His performances—crafted with custom-built instruments and homemade software—blur the lines between electronic and organic, dancefloor and ritual. In this session, Holden introduces Benny, a new live-focused open-source music software he developed in Max/MSP. Described as a “modular music playground,” Benny is now available to the wider music-making community. He’ll share the motivations behind its creation and what it sets out to achieve.
