Mark V. Campbell is a DJ, scholar, and curator whose work spans multiple continents. He is the founder of the Northside Hip-Hop Archive and the Afrosonic Innovation Lab, two initiatives that reflect his commitment to preserving, studying, and advancing Black music cultures and their histories.
Campbell is the author or co-editor of five books, including Afrosonic Life, Hip-Hop Archives, and We Still Here, and serves as Associate Professor of Music at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
