Keynote

Dr. Pinar Yoldas is a Turkish-American architect, artist, and associate professor at the University of California, San Diego. Her interdisciplinary work merges biological sciences with digital technologies, emphasizing environmental justice, feminist techno-science, and post-humanism.
Born in Denizli, Turkey, Dr. Yoldas demonstrated exceptional artistic talent from a young age, holding her first solo exhibition at five. She holds degrees in architecture from Middle East Technical University, a master’s from Istanbul Bilgi University, an MS from Istanbul Technical University, an MFA from UCLA, and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
Dr. Yoldas's innovative projects, such as An Ecosystem of Excess, explore the environmental impact of human activity. She has received numerous accolades, including the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship and the FEAT Award. Her work has been exhibited globally, including at the Venice Biennale and the V&A Museum.
