Florence-Delphine Roux is a digital and sound artist from Québec City, now based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal. Her multidisciplinary work bridges art, science, and technology, with a strong focus on the radiophonic medium.
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts at Villa Arson in Nice, Roux crafts sensory experiences through listening. Drawing from extensive field recordings—often captured outdoors—she manipulates textures invisible to the naked eye, such as electromagnetic fields, creating subtle disturbances within reality. Her practice unfolds through immersive sound installations, performances, video art, and radiophonic works. Driven by a desire to develop narrative fiction, Roux crafts cinematic aural experiences where stories emerge through sound alone.
Through this multidimensional approach, she invites audiences to rethink their relationship with sound, venturing into alternate realities where listening becomes an act of active perception.
