Throughout her 17-year career in live events, sustainability has always been a core part of Pauline Bourdon's work ethos. During this time, she has worked in artist logistics and tour managed across the globe — from Europe all the way to Costa Rica — lending her expertise to world-renowned festivals such as Glastonbury (Silver Hayes), FORWARDS, Boomtown Fair, Love Saves the Day, and Simple Things Festival.
In February 2021, she launched Soliphilia — a sustainability and green touring consultancy dedicated to artists and the live music industry. Since then, she has collaborated with organisations such as Team Love, Saffron, and MUTEK, helping them embed intersectional sustainability values and initiatives. Artists like Hollie Cook, Gardna, and Nick Mulvey have also partnered with Soliphilia to introduce greener practices on tour.
Bourdon actively believes in knowledge sharing and community learning. She lectures and guest lectures at several universities across the UK, is an active member of industry groups such as Visions for Sustainable Events, and regularly speaks at conferences.
