HIFIVE CA/QC
HIFIVE is a Montréal-based collective dedicated to bringing Sound System culture from the Caribbean and England, alongside Bass Music, to the Québec scene. More than an events collective, HIFIVE is a living archive of a tradition built on the belief that how music is heard matters as much as the music itself.
Since 2016, the collective has been an active presence in Montréal's underground cultural scene, collaborating with organizers, artists, and communities through event production, sound system services, and technical consultation. Their work is driven by a desire to give this culture the space and visibility it deserves in Québec, nurturing an ecosystem where the sound system is not merely a piece of equipment, but the centrepiece of a shared listening experience.
HIFIVE's core values are knowledge sharing, collaboration, respect, DIY culture, and the subcultures that make the city so unique.
