Jeanne Charlotte VogtCA/QC
Jeanne Charlotte Vogt is a curator, educator and producer, dramaturg at the theatre Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm and the artistic director of the media arts and creative coding festival and community NODE Forum for Digital Arts in Frankfurt, Germany.
She is enthusiastic about performing arts and the critical educational power of media artistic practices. As an independent curator she has started international exchange programs, citizen science festivals, educational programs for fellow artists or teens such as Digitale Welten, a program to promote artistically driven critical and political STEAM education. Together with the research project Motion Bank she has developed the international exchange project Choreographic Coding Lab investigating the role of technology and coding practices in the field of contemporary dance and performance. She is part of the curatorial team of the hacker convention of CCC and jury member of the media board in the region of Hesse, Germany. With the collective research project [in]operabilities she is currently investigating the specific aesthetics of access and the social potential inherent in the seemingly inaccessible artform of opera.
Her projects are questioning established formats and exploring the conditions for collective and interdisciplinary learning experiences. Her goal is to create meaningful and empowering encounters with the arts, technology and other beings.
