Jenny Thibault is a cultural leader and strategist working at the intersection of art, technology, and society. As Executive Director of the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montréal, she leads one of the world's pioneering institutions dedicated to immersive arts and technological innovation.
Trained in cinema and anthropology, she co-founded the award-winning Festival de musique émergente (FME) in 2003 in her hometown of Rouyn-Noranda. Over the past 25 years, she has helped shape Québec's digital culture ecosystem through leadership roles at the National Film Board of Canada, XN Québec, and now SAT.
At SAT, Thibault champions technology as a catalyst for artistic experimentation, human connection, and social transformation, fostering collaboration between artists, researchers, and industry while advancing new forms of immersive creation. Deeply committed to the public good, she serves on the boards of several cultural and nonprofit organizations, supporting initiatives that strengthen the cultural sector and generate lasting social impact.
