Lee WilkinsCA/QC
Lee Wilkins is an artist, cyborg and educator based in Montreal. Their work spans digital fabrication, alternative materials, feminist media studies, outer space and open source technologies in speculative futures. Blending both theory and practice, their work re-imagine and redirect the future through activism, materiality, and radical modes of creation.
Wilkins is the founder of Radio Snack, a Montréal-based makerspace, and co-chair of the Open Hardware Summit since 2022. They serve on the boards of the Open Source Hardware Association and Ada X, and are program director of Sketching in Hardware. They are also a faculty member at Concordia University, where they teach across Studio Arts, Art Education, and Computation Arts.
Through their interdisciplinary practice, Wilkins builds communities around accessible technology, collective learning, and open-source innovation.
