Mourad Bennacer is a multidisciplinary artist and educator specializing in immersive media, spatial audio, and digital archiving. Working under the alias [indistinct voices over PA], his compositional practice explores the connections between technological obsolescence and data degradation through the lens of his North African heritage and a deep engagement with experimental turntablism. Inspired by the concept of memory transience, his work asks what is lost, preserved, and transformed as sound and culture pass through time and technology. It has been presented at events including Exposé Noir, MUTEK, Akousma, and Tasmeem in Doha, Qatar.

As part of the creation and development team at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT), Bennacer contributes to the advancement of immersive practices through partnerships and international residency programs. He curates both the SAT Fest international fulldome festival and Substrat, an immersive concert series dedicated to showcasing local musical talent in multichannel and immersive formats. He is also co-founder of Unlog, a collective and independent label operating at the intersection of music and media arts, with a downtempo and leftfield electronic signature.
