Sako Ghanaghounian is a Montréal-based composer, sound designer, and musician whose practice weaves together artistic craft and community building. A graduate of Concordia University, he is deeply embedded in the city's local arts and DIY scenes, where he has become a trusted organizer of immersive sound experiences including ambient sleepovers and dedicated listening sessions.
His commitment to sound as a communal and sensory practice led him to build Pomelo, one of Montréal's most beloved hand-crafted sound systems, designed to bring people together around the physical and emotional experience of music. He is also the co-founder of Bijou, a cherished event series that has become a gathering point for the city's community of sound lovers.
