Hamidreza NassiriIR/US
Hamidreza Nassiri is an interdisciplinary scholar and media producer with a PhD in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His work has been published in the Journal of Cinema and Media Studies, and his films have been showcased at several festivals. He has taught at institutions including UW-Madison, NYU, and Fordham University, and has led digital storytelling and civic media workshops at community organizations and colleges. Nassiri’s research and creative projects focus on alternative and defiant forms and spaces of media production, distribution, exhibition, and education.
