Jessie Mill has been Creative co-director of the Festival TransAmériques (FTA) in Montréal/Tio'tia:ke along Martine Dennewald since June 2021. On top of being a playwright and an editor, she occasionally teaches and writes around the shows. She has collaborated as a playwright with other festivals, including Les Récréâtrales de Ouagadougou and the Festival d'Avignon under the direction of Tiago Rodrigues. Curieux manuel de dramaturgie pour le théâtre, la danse et autres matières à changement, a collective work she co-edited, will be published in September by éditions du passage.
