Line Katcho is a Montréal-based composer and audiovisual artist whose immersive works explore sound and image as forces of motion, tension and transformation. Blending abstraction with narrative elements, her practice spans live performance, film, VR and architectural projection. Her work has been presented at Ars Electronica, Sónar+D, MUTEK (Argentina, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Spain, UAE), and Scopitone, and was officially selected by prestigious festivals such as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France). A recipient of the JTTP 2014 First Prize and the MA/IN 2016 Award of Distinction, she has also completed residencies with the Society for Arts and Technology and Espace IM(media). With a background in electroacoustic composition, she embraces hybrid forms and sensory immersion, creating intense, expressive works that resonate physically and emotionally. She also collaborates across disciplines, including contemporary dance and video game sound design.
