Mathieu ParentCA/QC
Mathieu Parent is a Montréal-based cultural producer, creative director, and founder of Ic3y Mag, an independent print publication exploring the intersections of music, design, technology, and contemporary culture. Since launching Ic3y, he has led the publication's editorial direction, artist partnerships, and international development, collaborating with musicians, visual artists, festivals, and cultural organizations across Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
Alongside his work with the magazine, Parent develops immersive cultural experiences that encourage deeper engagement with music and the arts. He is the creator of Listening Room, a high-fidelity album listening series, and Obscura, a large-scale immersive listening experience presented in partnership with venues, festivals, and cultural institutions.
Currently based in Montréal, Parent also works in arts and cultural programming, producing exhibitions, events, and community-focused initiatives that connect audiences through sound, design, and shared experiences at Foil Gallery.
