Olivia Mc Gilchrist researches how colonial legacies extend their reach to VR technology, by highlighting how Caribbean thinkers conceptualize the self as neither singular nor universal, but as hybrid, relational, whilst still specific. She works with video, multimedia installation and VR as an artist and a consultant on interdisciplinary, performance based projects.
