Ziad Touma is an award-winning producer, director, and screenwriter with over 25 years of experience in film, television series, and interactive media, working in both fiction and documentary. Through his production company Couzin Films, he directed and co-produced the interactive fiction experiences The Passengers (Tribeca, SXSW, Cannes XR, Kaohsiung, Best Immersive Fiction at the Canadian Screen Awards) and The Judas, an alternate reality game for radio-canada.ca (FNC, FIPA, 2 Digi Awards, 4 Boomerang Awards, Numix and Gémeaux Award nominations). He recently produced the VR experience TRACES: The Grief Processor by Vali Fugulin, selected for SXSW, RIDM, and BIFAN in South Korea, and nominated for a Webby Award, a Games for Change Award, and three Numix Awards including Best XR Experience.

Touma has also produced nine feature films, including Made to Walk, a feature-length documentary by Vali Fugulin (RVQC), The Thawing of Ice by François Péloquin (Austin Film Festival, Canadian Screen Award nominations and Golden Sheaf Award for Best Director at the Yorkton Film Festival), Evergreens by Stéphane Moukarzel (Audience Award at the San Diego IFF, Best Canadian Film Award at the Rhode Island IFF) and Ghost Town Anthology by Denis Côté (Official Competition Berlinale, San Sebastian, Karlovy Vary).
