Émilie F. Grenier wants you to forget, for an instant, where you are. Using the real world as her artistic canvas, she weaves narrative threads with subtle traces of technological enhancements to transform spaces from the mundane to the magical, instilling her work with a quiet sense of wonder.
In her role as TAIT Principal, she conceives and sustains the strategic creative visions of substantial cultural and experiential projects. Additionally, she directs teams in crafting extensive multisensory experiences tailored for an international clientele.
Working over the last 20 years in a range of disciplines including performance, film, interactive storytelling and extended reality environments — a platform-agnostic approach to creativity has always been at the heart of her process. She is drawn to the possibilities that technology offers less to wow, but to produce a remarkable suspension of disbelief. She strives to create meaningful work that will last generations, whether in a glass box in a museum, or ephemerally in our memories.
