Jarl Schulp is a curator, designer and event organiser. He’s the co-founder and artistic director of FIBER; an Amsterdam based festival and platform for digital culture, audiovisual art and experimental music culture. His practice focuses on the ever-changing possibilities and impact of technology in relation to society and the more-than-human world.

In his work, he explores the interactions between technology and ecology, and how working with sound and perception can offer alternative and critical perspectives. He curated and designed exhibitions, concert and performance programmes, alongside experimental knowledge environments, like labs, masterclasses and workshops. In 2026 and 2027, he is the artistic lead of the Futures of Listening consortium, as part of FIBER. Futures of Listening is a Netherlands-based consortium which focuses on current and past immersive technologies and listening practices with a sound-centered mission.
