Her approach invites us to reimagine our connections to time, space, and technology.
Through her lens as a new media artist, O’Bomsawin reflects on the many forms memory can take: carved in stone, spoken through breath, and stored in the digital “cloud.” She considers how emerging technologies can become meaningful tools for preserving and sharing Indigenous worldviews—when approached with care, reciprocity, and respect. Ultimately, this presentation is a call to action: to listen, to remember, and to engage with the future through grounded, relational practices that honor difference and otherness.
